About me

My name is Evgenia Kalogirou. I am a licensed psychologist (licence no. 219729/3411).

I am a graduate of the Department of Psychology at the Aristotle University of Thessaloniki. I went on to earn a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health from the AUTh School of Medicine, as well as a Master’s degree in School Psychology, both with distinction.

Alongside this I am training in Cognitive Behavioural Therapy (CBT), one of the most robustly evidenced therapeutic approaches. This training focuses on understanding how thoughts, feelings and behaviours interact, with the aim of developing healthier and more adaptive ways of coping.

My professional experience includes providing psychological support to children, teenagers and adults, both in private practice and in school settings. I have also worked as an Employment Counsellor, supporting unemployed people and those from vulnerable social groups — building psychosocial skills, managing anxiety and helping people return to work. Today I work with educators, families and institutions on prevention and mental-health promotion.

I invest continuously in my scientific and professional development through specialist qualifications, training programmes and academic conferences. I take an active part in symposia and conferences, presenting work in the fields of Psychiatry and Mental Health.

Beyond qualifications and experience, I believe meaningful therapeutic change grows out of a relationship built on trust. My aim is to offer you a space where you feel genuinely heard — with respect, empathy and without judgement. Together we can make sense of the difficulties you are facing and work in a way that answers your own needs and goals.
